When the EF-3 tornado tore through St. Louis on May 16, 2025, it left more than structural damage in its wake. It left entire neighborhoods without food, shelter, and the simple feeling that someone was looking out for them. Where local and federal government response lacked, 314 Oasis was born from that gap — a collective effort in community care built to meet people exactly where they are.

Through in-person recovery hubs, mobile outreach, and virtual support channels, 314 Oasis has connected impacted residents with immediate basic needs — food, shelter, housing assistance, and utility support — all delivered with a holistic, healing-centered approach. Recovery, they believe, isn't just logistical. It's deeply human.

This year, they're shifting their focus toward preparation. As part of their severe weather readiness efforts, 314 OASIS is collecting donations for Windy Day Kits — care packages designed to help families weather the next storm.

You'll have the chance to support 314 Oasis in person at May's Night Market on June 19th. Stop by their table, learn more about the work they do, and drop off a kit donation item if you're able. Every contribution goes directly back to the people who need it most.
